SNHS Management Corporation is dedicated to bringing quality affordable elderly housing . . .

We have several housing facilities located throughout the State of New Hampshire and one in Maine. Our housing projects share common features, but also reflect the character of the surrounding neighborhood. Our housing sites are located in both urban and country settings. Some are multi-level while others are single level or garden style.

Each of our housing projects offers on-site management and maintenance, laundry facilities and a community room for social gatherings and activities. Our community rooms are also equipped with a computers with internet access. Small pets are also welcome.

We will also help you find the services you may need to make your lives as satisfying and worry free as possible.

The Qualifying Process . . .

Our housing communities are privately owned. The majority of rents are based on income and subsidized by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). We are governed by HUD rules and regulations.

In order to qualify for occupancy an application must be submitted. Our staff will assist you through the process.

While each case is unique, there are certain criteria and documentation that must be met, proof of age, income and asset documentation. Income limits vary by city/town.

Once you qualify, your rent would be 30% of your gross adjusted income, which is updated annually. This does not apply for tax credit units.

The Apartment . . .

Heat, hot water and electricity are included in your rent. There is an extra charge for electricity if you have an air conditioner. You would be responsible for telephone and cable charges. All apartments are cable ready.
